Often in our fast-paced  modern lives, we struggle to fully switch off and deeply relax. In that space we are much less able to receive the subtle messages our body is always sending until the point it needs to yell out! That often takes the form of either disturbed sleep and/or acute body aches, tensions and pains. Problems with your health, be it physical or psychological, is your body’s way of telling you that something is wrong and that you need to ‘take action’ in order to shift and change that.

What aches and pains are you ignoring?

The focus of my treatment is firstly assisting you switch off the nervous system to be able to tune into your body to feel and connect to those deeper sensations. Then you can to begin to listen and hear the messages it is telling you, as ultimately you know your body better than me.

Although the focus is upon facilitating you in switching off and connecting to your ‘inner knowing, all those tensions, aches and pains calling out need to be ‘heard’ and addressed as part of the process. I aim to have you to leave feeling ‘deeply heard’ with a sense of inner calm at the end of it all.

Shiatsu is not going to ‘fix you’, it is going to provide you with a deeper understanding and a support to be more empowered in your wellbeing. See it as a regular ‘reality check’. The benefits of strengthening your inner connection are cumulative, so regular treatments or a series of treatments are infinitely more beneficial than a ‘one-off’.
